Aydin Tekin is the founder of this family business. Aydin is also the master jeweler here at Ballantyne Jewelers. He started the first family store in 1969 when he created the Tekin Brothers, Inc. and has been using his master jeweler expertise ever since. Having had successful stores in Istanbul, Turkey and California, Aydin knows it takes creative excellence to help our customers acquire only the best custom jewelry and in turn to make his family business known for excellence in design and customer service. With a diverse background in jewelry design and craftsmanship, Aydin is able to bring many different styles of jeweler under one roof, thus allowing his clients to pick and choose from an array of impressive designs.

Sami Tekin handles much of the business marketing, when he is not designing and creating exquisite jewelry as the store's second master jeweler. Extremely knowledgeable in the art of jewelry design, Sami sharpened his skills when he attended the world-renowned GIA School while living in California. Sami's genuine friendliness adds to the heartwarming experience you get when shopping at a family-operated venue. Sami manages to keep jewelry classics in his store, yet he maintains the latest trends in jewelry design by attending all major jewelry seminars in the U.S. and around the world.
